Quickbooks Online Accountant - adding new "no company name" client - can't see the client on my list

I received an email, as usual, when a client wants to invite our Accounting business, to their QuickBooks Online subscription, as an Accountant user.  The subject/header of the email says "No company name has invited you to use QuickBooks Accountant."  Then I successfully added the client to my QBO Accountant login.  BUT THE CLIENT IS NOT LISTED on my list of clients.  This has happened with two clients.  Bot have a, "no company name."  Does the client need to add a company name to their QBO so I can see them on my QBO client list?  Thank you.

Quickbooks Online Accountant - adding new "no company name" client - can't see the client on my list

Hello there, @Snancy.

Ensuring you can seamlessly add your client is our priority.

To help you with this, you can ask your clients to re-invite you to their company. There may be some issues with the process of linking your client's company to your QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA). Here's how:

  1. Let them sign in to their QuickBooks Online account as a primary admin.
  2. Then, go to Settings and select Manage Users.
  3. Click the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Choose Invite.
  5. Let them enter your info and select Save.

For your reference, please see this article: Find missing client companies in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

In case you'll need to update your client's info or make them inactivate, you can visit this page for the detailed guide: Manage clients in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

If you have further questions about managing your client's list, please post a reply below. I'm always around to help. Keep safe.
