QuickBooks phone support

I understand that phone support is closed during the COVID issue I have an update to Enterprise 2020 schedule for this week from Enterprise 2017.  We are a large company with 10 company files and 40 users.  I do not feel confident not having phone support available while performing this update.  2 questions.

 

1.  Any idea when phone support will be available again?

2. Will Enterprise 2017 end date being extended because of the current issues?

I know that this outbreak has lots of businesses on their toes right now, but we're all in this together. Our phone support options will be available as soon as we get through this situation. We're happy to help out wherever possible and want to ensure you get back to business in no time. We do, however, still have chat agents ready and willing to assist you at this time. You can start a chat by following these quick steps:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue, then hit Continue.
  5. We’ll provide you a few support options. Choose Chat with us to get started.

 

We don't yet have word on the discontinuation date for QuickBooks Desktop 2017, but we'll send an email once we know more.

 

We're also available to assist here in the Community any time you need us. Let me know if there's anything I can do at all to assist and I'll be on it. Cheers to a safe week ahead.

Afaik, company supports QB 2017 until May 31, 2020. During this climate, I would recommend you to upgrade 1 or 2 data files in every week.

What Hours is QB Chat Support available now from within QBOA? Have they changed hours of support due to COVID-19? Wait...

 

.... I believe I have the answer... 6 AM-6 PM PT Monday-Friday. This is overall support, not sure if it is directly Chat Support, but likely so. This should answer my question if so. Thanks!
