I currently us QuickBooks POS 19 and Webgility to sync my inventory to both eBay and to a Wix website. For whatever reason if Webgility transfers information to QuickBooks POS and there is zero inventory, it turns it into a Sales order, rather than an order. How do I change a sales order to an order?
I understand how useful it is to convert Sales Order into an Order in QuickBooks Desktop, @Captain-Dave. Let me share some information and route you to the right support who can help you further.

Point of Sale. Not desktop
I appreciate you getting back to us, Captain.
QuickBooks Point of Sale is dependent on the data that the Webgility processor transmits. The system will post the transactions the same way the Webgility service provider created them.
All third-party applications (non-intuit) will no longer have access to their software. To ensure they turn into order when syncing, I'd suggest reaching out to Webgility's Support Team. We can also get in touch with our QuickBooks Point of Sale Chat Support for additional assistance.
On the other hand, turning a sales order into an order is unavailable. We may need to delete the sales order and create the order. We can refer to this article for the detailed steps: Create Customer Order in QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale.
We can go through the following write-up: QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) FAQ. This will provide us with articles about updating the program (POS) to its latest release as well as other future links.
Should you need additional help, please let me know. I'd be more than willing to lend a hand, Captain.
Leaving webgility out of it, how do I turn a sales order into an order?
I actually figured it out. When looking at the sales order itself, just click on - I want to - and then - Sell Items. It will bring up the register and allow you to convert the sales order into a sale.
Glad you've managed to solve the puzzle, @Captain-Dave.
I'm happy you're able to change your sales order in QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) to an actual order. This will also and surely help other customers, like you, who in case, are facing the same problems while using the program.
