Join nowI am trying to pull a report for all credit card charges that have or do not have an attachment to it. In other words I am trying to identify the credit card charges where a receipt has not been attached yet.
Let's make sure that you're able to pull up a report and identify the credit card charges where receipts have not been attached, petethepatriot.
When creating a bill or have a credit card charge, we usually use items. Then, assign them to Customer Job.
For QuickBooks Premier, you can pull up the Expenses Not Assigned to Jobs report. This report contains a list of costs that have not been assigned to a customer or job, totaled by the vendor. This report also helps you find costs that may not have been passed along to your customer.
You may also want to customize your report on how it will look like. Please check out this article for more information. Customize Reports In QuickBooks Desktop.

Thank you for your reply however this is not what I am looking for. NONE of my expenses are for job related items. These are expenses like meals, travel, overhead items, etc. I pay alot of my expenses with credit cards so I want to see a report that I can run by credit card and see if it has an attachment.
Thanks for coming back with additional details of what you're trying to achieve, @petethepatriot.
We can run the Transaction Detail report and customize it to show credit card purchases and charges. However, we're unable to filter the attachment.
Here's how:
To view whether the transaction has an attachment to it, you can check the registers instead, as the attachment paper clip will show visibly on every transaction in the register.
For future reference, you can always check out this article about customizing reports.
Let me know if you still have questions about running reports, @petethepatriot. I'm always right here to guide you more.
