Quickbooks Pro 2019 Costco E-Download 32 Bit

Hello,

I recently purchased QB Pro 2019 from Costco E-Download and it looks like it may be a 32 bit version. I am running a Windows 10 machine. Is there a way to verify if the software I am using is 32 or 64. If running 32 bit, is there a way to upgrade it to 64 bit.

Thank you

Thank you for getting back, @DCBUS.

Since your system meets all the standard requirements, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue. First, run the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool (QBIntall Tool). This helps identify any component issues related to your QuickBooks.

For the steps:

1. Download the QuickBooks Install DiagnosticTool.

2. When prompted, save the file to the local Desktop.

3. Close any open programs and run the QBInstall Tool. It may take up to 20 minutes to complete, depending on your internet speed and computers performance.

4. Restart the computer after running the tool to ensure the components are properly updated.

If you're getting the same experience, I recommend trying the other solutions provided in this article: QuickBooks Desktop won't open, has stopped working, or not responding.

Hey there, @DCBUS.

I'm happy to provide you some information QuickBooks installs.

All versions of QuickBooks are 32 bit. However, you can install QuickBooks on a 64 bit computer. I want to make sure you have no issues.

Here's a list of system requirements for QuickBooks:

  • Windows 10, all editions including 64-bit, natively installed
  • Windows 8.1 (Update 1), all versions including 64-bit, natively installed
  • Windows 7 SP1, all versions including 64-bit, natively installed (only supported until January 2020)
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Windows Server 2011, Standard and Essentials
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (only supported until January 2020)

For more information on the system requirements, you can check out this article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/product-preferences/system-requirements-for-quickb...

If you have further questions or concerns, feel free to drop a line. Take care, and have a great day ahead!

Hello,

Thank you for the reply. My system meets all the requirements. I am running into issues where QB is locking up in certain areas. Mostly when I try to import items. If I try anything but the advanced import, QB locks up and I have to restart the program. Thank you
