Quickbooks Pro Desktop

You may get QB 2020 Pro Plus for half price. But it is a subscription product and you have to renew each year and pay the regular price later. Another option, you may purchase QB 2020 Pro 1 user with a one time license for $300 directly or $200 thru a partner/reseller.

I never needed nor used the subscription, and my business is so small and really not functioning. All I want to spend is about $100. I have old versions all over my computer, I just want the darn subscription product to merge with a new register entry for 2019.

I really think I hit the wrong button when I bought my software from Office Depot. I never would have agreed to pay for a full subscription service. We only did our entries about twice a year after or CPA lost his bookkeeper.

How long ago did you purchase it?  Are you still in the window to return it and start over?  Keep asking for a supervisor and explain what's going on. 

Also, do you use Bank Feed to either download your bank transactions or pay bills automatically through QuickBooks?  If not, then not only do you not need Plus, and you probably do not need to upgrade.

You only need to update/upgrade QBs if you're using online banking and bill pay through QBs or your accountant requires it.  If you're just keeping a copy of your records, there's no need. 

Now if for some reason you do need to upgrade you are looking for QuickBooks Desktop Pro and you DO NOT want Plus.  Plus is the extra subscription.  There are various other subscription options, so just confirm you're not getting anything subscription related.

If you can find just the Pro version vs. the Plus version of the QB2019 you apparently have, great.  But if not, Office Depot is actually showing QB2020 Desktop Pro Single User (Item 3292248) on sale for $149.  So hopefully you can work out an exchange with them.

I'd like to provide you our Sales page to look into other options for your Accounting software. QuickBooks Online is for smaller businesses and it's a subscription-base program, so you can subscribe/cancel at any time. Your data will be stored in the cloud for a year if you cancel your subscription. With this being said, if you decide to store your data in QuickBooks Online, then cancel your subscription and come back months later to resubscribe, then you can pick up where you left off.

All I need to do is inout register for 2019. Going to have to find a new bookkeeper or something and probably close up shop. When I tried to work on this with Intuit, they said I had to pay $300 and keep what I had. It's a few years old, Office Depot wont take it back. So I guess I need maybe a bit older software that will just work right into it. $150 is probably reasonable. I do not pay anything with the software and my business checking account is pretty much sitting unused due to illness here.

Question:  I have already downloaded QBDesktop 2020.  Every time I open QB

I get a message saying an update is ready for me.  Is that update the 2020 package

Or is it an update like below.  Should I go ahead and do the update???
