Join nowI just signed into my Quickbooks Self-Employed account for the first time this year and my subscription had apparently ended. I purchase the bundle for Turbo Tax and Quickbooks together when I do my taxes (April 2020 for the previous year), so I'm not sure why my subscription would have ended in January. I received no notification that this was happening, no emails, nothing. Is this an error? I can't seem to get answers out of anyone in customer service, other than to pay for another subscription. With all the issues I've had with it this year, I'm thinking of moving to another service, so I really just need to get in and collect information.
Let's manage your account and review everything, Erinlm2401.
When your subscription is about to expire, the system will send you a notification a head of time. This is to make sure that you have an updated billing information. There's a possibility that the email message was routed to your Spam folder or you're using a email address.
Meanwhile, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team about this matter. They can pull up your account and more details about it. You can reach them by following the steps in this article: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.
From there, we can reset the account and update the billing information within the system. Or you can update it yourself using this link: Update your billing and subscription info in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Keep us posted about this so we can further assist you in managing your account.
Good morning @Erinlm2401 . I wanted to give you a quick update on the issue you described above. Our engineering team identified a bug that caused some QuickBooks Self Employed accounts to expire prematurely. They identified a fix and are rolling it out to everyone affected as we speak, so if you aren't back up and running already, you will be soon!
Please let me know if you have any questions or need any further assistance on this. I'm more than happy to help.
Hi again @Erinlm2401 ! I'm happy to report that all impacted accounts have been restored and you should be able to login to QuickBooks Self Employed as normal.
Please let me know if you still experience any difficulties accessing your account and I'll be happy to look into it ASAP.
