Hello, cedkins01.

I have some information regarding the Self-Employed's capability.

QuickBooks Self-Employed doesn't have the Audit Log feature, unlike in the Online version. Once an invoice is deleted from the Self-Employed version, we're unable to retrieve it.

Invoices in QBSE are for recording purposes only, but you can still recreate it manually. If you've sent it before to your client, you might want to ask them for a copy.

You can also keep a copy of your invoices just in case. Simply go to the Invoices page, then click the Download icon.

Though, it would be beneficial to have an Audit Log in the Self-Employed version, too. Our engineers might be working to bring this feature over to this platform in the future. You can check our QuickBooks Blog for product updates.

Please check out our Self-Employed articles if you need help categorizing your transactions, managing your estimated taxes and such. See the topics here and look for an article specific to your tasks.

Glad to answer any other questions you might have for the Self-Employed platform. Just visit the Community space again and I'll help you out.
