If you've already had a list of barcodes for your items, you can import it in the system. You'll just need to have admin access to do this. I also recommend to back up your company file before importing.
To import barcodes, here's what you'll need to do:
- Create a custom field.
- Export your item list to Excel.
- Edit the Excel sheet.
- Import the list with barcodes from Excel.
- Set QuickBooks to track your imported barcodes.
