And now the USA migration team is just taking longer than normal..
Good day, Buck Tsai.
Are you trying to move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online? If so, let's prepare your desktop file first before importing it. Please know that we can only move a company file within 60 days after signing up to QuickBooks Online. if you already set up payroll in QuickBooks Online, we can only move your lists instead of your company file.
In addition, we'll have to use a trial version to convert your file if you’re using a version older than 2017. Here's how to import your desktop file:
Then, let's run your financial reports, such as profit and loss, on an accrual basis in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online to check if the data is imported correctly.
Once your company is ready, let's get you started with QuickBooks Online:
I encourage checking out our Getting Started Guide for more resources.
Do you have other questions in mind? Feel free to leave them below and I'll make sure to get back to you.
As mentioned by KlentB, if you are nt using QBD 2020, utilize the trial license migrating to QBO. Hit f2 key and make sure your Total Target is less than 350K. Otherwise, you have to condense your data file prior migrating it. Then make sure you have open a QBO account prior to proceed.

I have done the migration process 50 times already, so i know the step by step.
However, even after one follow those step....many time there is still no REPLY at all in terms of why migration failed. See attached migration step been followed.
I have just now received two AUTO feedback why migration failed:
but after I DELETED all those mentioned ISSUES completely and then re- migrate.....there is no more AUTO REPLY, and the file still remain ...." Not migrated"
The worst is i do not even get a CASE number for this migration request yet.....so even if i call the support cernter, unless they can use QBO company ID to track...otherwise i have no idea how they would be able to help and track.......
Hi there, Buck Tsai. Thanks for getting back to this thread.
I've read your concern above and would like to share a way on how to fix the issue.
I can see you're putting a lot of effort and time to transfer your data to QuickBooks Online. However, the process seems not that successful on your end. In your case, we'll need to investigate this further and look for the main reason why you're experiencing this kind of behavior. Also, our specialist will help us to find out what triggers the conversion as you go along with the process.
With that being said, please consider contacting our specialist by following the steps below. If you have a previous interaction with one of them before, you can share it with the new one as well as your company ID. This way, everything will be tracked using their appropriate tools and help you to continue the migration process accurately.
Here's how to get in touch with them:

You're able to schedule a callback within the support hours as mentioned by my peer above. If not, then the Get a Callback appears as greyed out. You can access it again within the normal support hours.
Also, the support hours depends on the type of QuickBooks subscription you have. For QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials and, Plus users, they're able to get a callback 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday-Friday and 6:00 AM-3:00 PM Saturday. If you're a QuickBooks Advanced user, you can call any time for any day. Please refer to this article for the details to ensure your issue gets prioritized: Support Hours for QuickBooks Online.
Moreover, consider checking out this article in case you have other QuickBooks concerns such as setting up payments, running reports, managing your income and expense, etc. to keep track of your business: QBO Help articles.
Feel free to visit again the Community if you have more queries. I'll be here to help. Take care, @Buck Tsai.
Converting from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online is fairly easy and can be done by yourself. There are, however, a few factors you need consider prior to switching. You can only import your data to QuickBooks Online within the first 60 days of the subscription start date.
Secondly, once you know you are within the allowed time frame, you need to verify the total target count in your QuickBooks Desktop file. To do this, open your QuickBooks Desktop file and press F2. In the example below, the total number of targets is 25,642. Total targets cannot exceed 350,000 for the import to work. If the data file has more than 350,000 targets, the file will need to be SuperCondensed first, and only then can it be converted to QBO.
