Thanks for stopping by the Community, I'm happy to help. First things first, you'll want to try clearing your cache and cookies. This is because sometimes, your computer stores data that can cause issues. Follow these steps to clear you cache and cookies and then you'll be able to use QuickBooks without issues.
From the browser menu, select Safari > Preferences > Advanced.
Enable the Show Develop menu in menu bar option and close the preferences window.
From the browser menu, select Develop > Empty caches.
All the caches are successfully cleared. Unfortunately, there isn’t any added functionality to choose what exactly to delete, but your browsing history will remain untouched.
Now you can refresh your Safari browser using Command+R shortcut. I'm also going to include additional information on QuickBooks for Mac down below:

Did not work and I do not see any area in the menu area either offering me an update for the Mac or leading me to one.

Since the issue persists after following the steps shared by my colleague above, I highly suggest contacting our Phone Support team.
