Join nowI accidentally restored an earlier version of our Quickbooks data file, and have made changes to it for several days now. Everyone else is still using the correct version. I just realized my mistake, but have added many entries over these 3 days. Is there anyway I can merge the recent changes/entries I made on the older data file to the correct and most recent data file that everyone else is using? Or will I have to just reenter everything since then?
Hey, ModifyInc.
With QuickBooks desktop, you're able to do a multitude of great things such as connect with POS software and have multiple users actively input data. There is no feature currently available to merge or combine company files. You could try exporting and importing the list information. This way any new Customers, Vendors and Price Levels would come over. You can view the article for exporting and importing here. I'm available as well if you have any questions.
Utilize the trial period of this 3rd party migration tool. Export the transactions data out from the first file and import them into the second file.

Good luck!
