Cash & Auto-withdrawals in Memorized Transactions

I have quickbooks desktop for mac and would like to memorize transactions that occur as cash payments and auto withdrawals from my checking account without the entry going into my check register with an assigned check number. Is there a way to make a memorized transaction not be a credit crd, deposit or check as the "type"?

Also, when I put in a new transaction, it automatically records them as a "Group". How do I stop that?

Thank you.

Cash & Auto-withdrawals in Memorized Transactions

Greetings, @suerte.

I appreciate you for sharing your thoughts about modifying memorized transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac.

Currently, the option to change the memorized transaction type is not available. QBDT for Mac bases the type of the memorized transaction on the transaction you set as memorized.

An example of this, if you’re creating a check then you set the check as memorized transactions. Then the transaction type is set to as Check. These apply to other transactions such as Bill, Deposits, and etc.

Also, the Group type is the default type when creating a memorized transactions. To learn more about memorized transactions in QBDT for Mac, check out this following article (scroll down to page 91): https://qblittlesquare.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/QuickBooks-for-Mac-2020-2002-copy.pdf
