I would really like to see on the desktop version of Quickbooks a way to customize my ONSCREEN templates.
For example the Invoice. It would be great to be able to customize WHERE things go and there order. I know I can customize it but I cannot resize a field and put it where I want on the screen. We have order numbers that don't fit in a field because quickbooks makes the sizes of the fields. Let me add it to the next line, please! This is for ONSCREEN not printed.
Or how about the CUSTOMER PAYMENT screen. This is great but let us add fields, not just invoice number and amount, we may need Work Order or Proposal Number. Let us change these. And if we can do it, don't give me a message that pops up and says if you change this, it may not work? What? Give an example of when it does work please.
There are more onscreen pages that come up that we would like to have more info, but this is a start.
I would love to have custom fields with dates that I can add. Not just 2, we need a lot more.
