Join nowMy Qb has been randomly duplicating entries. Has anyone else experienced this? Will and uninstall and then reinstall fix this?
GHi there, mcconnellsbooks.
I couldn't see any open alerts about transactions being duplicated in QuickBooks Desktop. Uninstalling and reinstalling the program will not remove duplicate transactions. Instead, let's run the Audit Trail Report to check who created them. Here's how:

Hello
First of all what does it matter who entered the transaction. Secondly i am the only person entering and i only entered the transaction twice
Greetings, Windsurfer.
Allow me to take over and provide you with some insights about duplicate transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
May I ask why are you entering the transactions twice?
Duplicate transactions cause your financial reports to be inaccurate and can be time-consuming to fix. I would suggest entering your transactions once to avoid duplicates.
If you wish to delete the duplicate entries, it would be best to review each duplicate transaction before doing so.

I am not entering the transaction twice, if i was i wouldn't be asking the question, as you can see by the attachment it ends up in the report twice where the second entry has a value of zero, if for example i delete the transaction with the zero amount it also deletes the other one.
