Estimate template customization

We're unable to share the coded or back-end document of the modern estimate template from QBO. Although, you can download the import guide or download the sample DOC file of the estimate template. I'd be glad to share with you the steps.

First, let's turn on the Import Style feature. 

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select QuickBooks Labs.
3. Turn on Import Style.

Then, let's download the sample template from the program. This way, you'll be able to see and learn how to design your custom form.

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom form style.
2. Choose Import style from the New Style drop-down arrow.
3. Select Estimate and click Next.
4. Click the Download import guide link.
5. Open the downloaded SampleDocument.zip file.

You can check our Apps Store to check the QuickBooks supported apps that suit your business needs. You can review the product and see its ratings and reviews as well. 

Here's how:

1. Go to the QuickBooks Apps store.
2. Type in "customize" in the Search field.
3. Choose an application to read its overview.
4. Click Get app now to process your order.

I have still not figured it out. Do you know where I can get the modern estimate template's word document coding/back-end. This way I can quickly add the little changes I want to make.

Intuit doesn't recommend any modern estimate template or where to find them. You'll want to check online for a coded/back-end document of the modern estimate template.

Once you have it, just customize the template and import it in QuickBooks Online (QBO). For more details about this one, check out this article: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates.
