Join nowHow do I select FedEx One Rate in the Shipping Manager in Desktop Pro 2018?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi there, @galeso.
Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I’m here to share some information about FedEx One Rate service type.
With QuickBooks Shipping manager, you can ship and mail with FedEx right from your QuickBooks Desktop. If you have already set it up, you’ll be allowed to create shipping labels and choose which FedEx type you need.
The Shipping Manager has only two service types available, the FedEx Express and the FedEx Ground. You’ll have to choose between the two since FedEx One Rate is unavailable.
If you wish to have this option, I suggest you send product suggestion straight to our Developers. Here’s how:
1. Go to the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online.
2. Select Product Suggestion.
3. On the QuickBooks Feedback window, fill out onscreen instructions.
4. Click Send Feedback.
I want you to know that your voice matters and that updates and changes to QuickBooks are largely the results of feedback provided by users like you. Rest assured, I’ll do the same on my end to reinforce your request.
I’m leaving you an article and links where you can read more about QuickBooks Shipping Manager.
• Set up and use QuickBooks Shipping Manager.
• Intuit QuickBooks Shipping Manager.
• QB Shipping Manager/FedEx.
That should do it. Let me know if you need anything else, I’ll be more than happy to help. Thanks for dropping by and take care!

In short, Fedex One Rate is not supported by QuickBooks Shipping Manager.
Thank you for getting back to us here in the Community, @galeso.
Allow me to join the thread and help share additional information about the QuickBooks Shipping Manager.
Yes, as mentioned by my colleague KhimG, FedEx One Rate in unavailable as of the moment. However, you can send your feedback following the steps provided above straight to our developers/engineers if you wish to have this option. Your suggestion would definitely be a big help in letting the developers identify which product features are most helpful to our customers.
As always, I'll also send feedback on my end.
Please know that I'm always here to help you if you have any other QuickBooks concerns, feel free to add a post/comment below. Have a great day ahead!
I have been shipping labels with QB for years using my fedex acct that is with QB. However, after I updated, it will not allow me to ship. An error message comes up that says "Meter # is not registered". What does that mean?
Hey there, @Angel222,
Thanks for joining the conversation. Allow me to share some information about the Meter # is not registered error you're getting in QuickBooks.
Your meter number is set by FedEx as identification for your negotiated shipping rates and to trace your tracking requests. While QuickBooks is unable to generate this data, I'd recommend getting in touch with the FedEx Customer Support for further assistance. There they can pull up your account and can help you get the updated shipping information, so you don't get behind your shipments.
Once you have the most updated data, you can set it up in QuickBooks using the steps in this article: Set up and use QuickBooks Shipping Manager
That should get your work done. Please feel free to let me know how this goes. I want to make sure you're all set. Have a great day!
Hello! I’m new here and am not sure if this is the right place to ask this. However, I was cautious to know if I can send two identical FedEx Paks using Onerate to the same address on the same day? I created a new shipment for each Pak. So, it was not put under the same shipment for each label. Will I get in trouble for this?
Hello, SBUXKING.
FedEx One Rate is not supported by QuickBooks Shipping Manager as of this moment. Rest assured that your feedback regarding this feature was shared with the appropriate department and team members.
However, we're unable to recommend if you're allowed to send two identical FedEx Package. I suggest contacting the FedEx Onerate Customer Support for additional information.
For your future reference, I'll be leaving you an article where you can read on how to ship using UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
Feel free to leave a post if you need further assistance. Have a great day!
So this option in Shipping Manager does what then?
Hello, @Dakota_Ag.
What my colleague meant was sending two identical FedEx Paks using Onerate to the same address is currently unavailable. However, I recommend contacting the FedEx Support to check if there are any workaround or availability for this option.
