Hello i have quick books selfemployed but just bought quick books online how do I migrate as I am struggling?

I'll be glad to ease your struggles and help you switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to the Online version.

You can automatically switch to QuickBooks Online by going to the Gear icon (the one beside your email address), then selecting Billing Info. Click on the Explore QuickBooks Online plans link to start the upgrade process. 

If you don't see the Explore QuickBooks Online plans link, you still have the option to manually transfer your data. Export your transactions then import them to QBO. Here's how: 

1. Go to Transactions. 
2. Click the export button above the ACTION column.
3. Open the downloaded CSV file and review the transactions.
4. Import the downloaded file to QuickBooks Online.

When you're done, I'd recommend canceling your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription to prevent unnecessary charges.

QBSE is a stand alone product and you are unable to migrate any data from other QB ones. OPen a new QBSE account and cancel your QBO one.
