Thanks for dropping by the Community space, @heidinorthern.

QuickBooks POS uses sales receipts, instead of invoices as a form of transaction. If you want to prevent the price from showing, I recommend removing the column.

Here’s how:

  1. Click Make a Sale to open the Sales Receipt window.
  2. Right-click the Price column and select Customize Columns
  3. Remove the checkmark next to Price.

I did as suggested in Test customer. When printing it still shows pricing. I am having them print packing slips in place to show the items, quantities and that is all.

Greetings, @heidinorthern.

You can edit your Sales Receipt template to remove the price. Let me guide you on how this is done.

To achieve this, you can use the Print Designer feature to customize the printed documents in QuickBooks Point of Sale.

You can follow the steps below:

  1. Click on File from the menu bar.
  2. Choose Tools, then click on Printer Designer.
  3. Select the document type.
  4. Click on Modify.
  5. Click on Properties to apply the Template Properties changes.
  6. Select Add to include other data fields.
  7. Choose Preview.
  8. Click on Save.

For more information, you can refer to this article provided by my colleague above.

You can always get back to me if you have any other questions or concerns. I’ll be around to help.
