Let me be the first to welcome you to the Community. I can share some information about the payroll forms showing under the Tasks section in your QuickBooks Online.
If you're seeing the Form 1099 and W-2 copies A & D, QuickBooks won't allow you to archive these forms.
They will be removed automatically by the system after 6 months if there are no actions taken. If you don’t want to wait, please give our Payroll Support Team a call for assistance.
They can access your account in a secure environment, which we are unable to do in this forum and help you get to a resolution quickly.
Here’s how to contact support:
1. From your QBO account, go to Help at the upper right corner of the screen.
2. Click Contact us.
