I want to filter the "Invoice List by Date" report by an inactive client. But inactive clients don't show up in the filter list. Is there a solution to this?

Hi there, jamie6.

Thanks for reaching out for support here in the Community. I'd be glad to offer some information on your question about filtering a report for an inactive client.

Once a client (or customer) has been made inactive, they're removed from certain areas in QuickBooks. One of these areas is reporting options. You can view the data for this client by making them active once again. Here's how:

1. Click the Clients tab.

2. Select the small Gear icon.

3. Choose Include inactive.

4. Click Make active to the right of the inactive client.

Once you've completed these steps, run the report once more with the filter for the client.
