I would like to start a new QuickBooks account and transfer my QuickBooks merchant account to my new QuickBooks account

You can start fresh with a new QuickBooks Online (QBO) account and move your existing QuickBooks merchant account over, islandelectric17.

There are times when starting a new QBO company is the best option. New customers can clear their data and begin again, while long-time users will need to set up a new company. For detailed steps, see the article: Delete your data and start over.

After that, you can connect your existing QuickBooks Payments (merchant services) account to your new QBO account. Your Payments account is linked to your Intuit account, not just your previous company file. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙, then select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. To connect your existing account, click Connect your QuickBooks Payments account.
  4. Choose the QuickBooks Payments account you want to connect to.
  5. Select the accounts you use to deposit customer payments. If you need to, here's how to change the account. Then tap Connect.
  6. In the Changes you might not expect window, press Yes, I understand.
  7. Once done, hit Sign out and then sign back into QBO.

To learn more about connecting an existing QuickBooks Payments account, refer to this article: Connect QuickBooks Payments to QuickBooks Online..
