Let's make sure that we've open the correct company file, EC525.
The company file should have a.QBW extension at the end of the file name.
If it's correct, we'll have to reset your password. Let me show you how:
- Log out from the company file, and log back again.
- In the QuickBooks Desktop Login window, enter your User Name.
- Click the I forgot my password link.
- Select an email, and then Next.
- Enter the token you've received.
- Fill out the information.
- Select OK.
- You'll be asked to create a new admin password.
Afterward, if you still encounter the same, I would suggest reaching out to our Phone Support Team. An agent will take a look at your file and investigate this further.
In the meantime, you can remove the password. Here's how:
- Click the Company menu.
- Select Set Up Users and Manage Passwords, and then Change Your Password.
- Leave the New Password and Confirm New Password field as blank.
- Make sure that you've removed the Challenge Question and Answer.
- Click OK.
Once done, you can check these references on how to download your data to TurboTax:
