So, does anyone have a relatively simple solution to sync inventory between QuickBooks, wix, and square? My website is through wix and square does my card processing. I’ve considered just manually exporting and importing my inventory daily, however when I try to import my square inventory from square to QuickBooks it will not let me use “inventory” as a type. Only “non-inventory” and service”. For the life of me I can’t figure out why. I can create a new item in QuickBooks and make it an inventory tracked item, I just can’t import items as such. Sorry for the longer post, but if anyone can shed some light on this for me I’d be most appreciating.
There’s a possibility that the item in your Excel file was not tag as inventory. That is why you’re only having Non-inventory and Service options for the type in QuickBooks. You can go back to your file and make sure that the type is inventory.
If they’re already tag as inventory and still not having an option, I’d recommend contacting the phone support team. They have tools like screen sharing which will help them to investigate the issue further,
