Join nowI no longer need security and would like to eliminate the login password. Is that possible?
Hello, @steven605.
I'm here to share some information about Intuit's password requirement when accessing QuickBooks Desktop.
In order to keep your account safe and secure, QuickBooks Desktop requires entering a password every time you access the company file. This is very important because it adds extra security in protecting critical data.
The system will ask you to change your login password every 90 days. For more information, you can refer to this article: Password security for QuickBooks Desktop.
Since you've mentioned not needing security and would like to eliminate the option to enter a password, I suggest sending feedback to our developers. After all, enhancements and improvements are the results of feedback provided by users like you.

How do eliminate the need for password each time I login. I am the only one using Quickbooks on my personal computer.
It's good thing to know that you're the only one using your QuickBooks , djg46.
You can enable the Stay logged-in feature and set the duration to 90 days. Just make sure you don't Log off when you close QuickBooks, so you won't be asked to enter your username and password again.
You can check this article on how to enable this feature depending on your QuickBooks version: Stay logged in to QuickBooks company file (sign in without entering your password).
