Join nowIs there a list of features that are included in the QuickBooks Online Browser version that are not included on the two mobile application versions? Clients using the iOS mobile app on their phone or tablet cannot see the PO's I send to their vendor. They are also forced to use Sub-Customers instead of Projects. This makes it very difficult to help organize company activities working on the full feature set in my office verses the limited feature set on the mobile devices the client uses in the field running their business. When they are on their job sites, they do not always have reliable internet and then do not bother using the added features.
The next question would be for me to learn of some good work arounds for clients who use the mobile only apps for their businesses while I use the convenience of the PO and Projects. For instance, one client has many different jobs under one billable customer and is only able to use the sub customer function to try to keep the jobs separate. I set up Projects for this client but they cannot use this feature. Will they ever be able to see their PO's and Projects on their mobile applications?

Let me provide some information about the difference between QuickBooks Mobile App and QuickBooks Online.
Currently, the option to view the Purchase Orders and/or Projects using the QBO mobile app is unavailable. However, you still get to create Bills using the mobile app as long as you access QuickBooks on a mobile browser.
Here's how:
You can also visit our webpage to review the comparison of different QuickBooks Online products. And please feel free to check out the mobile app guide to learn more about what else the app can do.
Let me know if I can be of additional help. Have a good one!

Native mobile apps are built for a specific platform, such as iOS for the Apple iPhone or Android for a Samsung device. ... They are downloaded and installed via an app store and have access to system resources, such as GPS and the camera function. Mobile apps live and run on the device itself.
Unfortunately, the client does not use the browser version when they are out in the field doing their business. They rely on the Apple iOS QBO mobile app on both of their devices; mobile phone and iPad. It would be very nice for me if the client doing their business had the same tools available on all three platforms. I appreciate your time and answer but if a paying QBO user (my client) only uses one of the platforms, I think that all of the features should be available to them no matter what platform they choose to use.
