Hey there, kaeloc. I'll help you with your question about QuickBooks 2012.

You can still use this version to keep records for your business by making manual entries, but there will be some limitations. For example, services like payroll, online backup, payment processing, online banking, and any other features which require an internet connection won't work due to our discontinued support for the product.

If you want to use electronic services in your books, you'll need to upgrade to a newer version. Presently we still support 2018, 2019, and 2020 for using e-services within the software.

As long as you are able to install the license and activate it on your machine, you may keep using it. I would not recommend running unsupported QB version on a supporting Windows OS. In case you only have a machine with Win 8.1 or Win 10, consider upgrading your license to QB 2020. As a non profit, you may purchase the new license thru Techsoup with a special price (i.e Premier 3 users for $150).

I have another way how to install QuickBooks files, CKi.

Currently, we no longer provide physical CDs for the software. You can go to the Download link and get the QuickBooks version you're looking for from there. I've added this screenshot for reference:

You can also save a copy if you have already downloaded the file, and if you want it stored on a CD, you can have it burned so you'll have a CD copy in case you want to install the software. To know more, check out this article for more details: Download QuickBooks Desktop.

If you are unable to activate your license online, chat Support to ask the activation code. Otherwise, you can use the trial version as a workaround.

The problem is 2012 is not available in the list.   Looking for 2012 desktop premier.

Thank you for the support.  But I don't see 2012 desktop premier in the list.  The earliest version available is 2016.

QB Desktop 2012 US Premier is available. Do you need another country version? i.e CA, UK

Your best option is to find a reused license on the market to upgrade your version. Alternatively, you can contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA and you can use QB Desktop CA with a newer version and non subscription license to upgrade your data.

At the moment we can't upgrade until we have completed the current work load.   We don't know how the upgrade affect the current setup and process.  The volunteers is nit comfortable upgrading until she finishes.

Currently we are using remote access using TeamViewer to access church pc and it is turning out to be very difficult.   We just bought a laptop so the volunteers can work from home.  That is why we need the same copy of 2012.

If Kaelog can read your last post, I'm sure you can't use that image either. Most likely he has US version, not CA version. Have you contacted Fiat Lux for advice?

I'm wondering if you would be able to assist me. We have QB 2012 Premier Nonprofit Edition, the Canada version, currently installed on a desktop. Recently, we purchased a laptop for a volunteer to assist with QB. We are trying to find the 2012 version to install on the laptop so the volunteer can work from home. We will be upgrading to a new QB as soon as the current project she is working on is complete. She is not comfortable upgrading at the moment until she finishes. Could you please assist us in locating a copy of the 2012 version?
