Join nowHello Quickbooks Community,
I need a little help, please!
When I integrate PayPal with Quickbooks Online is there a possibility to set up/customize that only certain transactions are imported ie. all expenses (debits) and transfers and no deposits (credits)?
Thank you!

Hello there, @dasha31.
I'll make sure that you can import specific bank transactions to QuickBooks Online(QBO).
Yes, you can choose the transactions that you want to import to QBO. You just need to use a CSV file to upload them. This way, you'll be able to choose what transactions to import.
Before importing, make sure to check if the file format is correct. Here's an article you can read to learn more about the correct format: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Hi there, @dasha31.
I'm here to provide some insights about connecting PayPal to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
When you connect an account, QuickBooks automatically downloads and categorizes all bank and credit card transactions for you. It enters the details so you don't have to enter transactions manually.
After QuickBooks downloads transactions, you can exclude the deposits. Here's how:
Before you exclude a downloaded transaction, please make sure it’s the right thing to do for your accounting. And when you exclude a transaction, it doesn’t appear in any account registers or financial reports.
You can check this article for more details about excluding a bank transactions: Exclude a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online
I also got you this article that can guide accurately in reconciling your account: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
Please leave a comment below if you have any other questions or concerns with QuickBooks. I'm more than happy to answer them. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you @AbegailS_ for your reply.
I know all that. I need to customize PP transactions importing. And the question is - how to import only certain transactions ie. all expenses (debits) and transfers and no deposits (credits)? And I would like to filter expenses also. But definitely, I need to customize importing PP transactions without deposits. Is that possible?
Thanks!
@AbegailS_ - so, the point is to customize all that before importing PP transactions in QBO. Not exclude them when they are already in QBO. Thanks!
