It sounds like the Price Level Lists data may be damaged.
Let's go ahead and re-sort the item list:
- Select the Lists menu and choose the list you need to re-sort.
- Click the Include Inactive checkbox.
- From the List (Account Item) drop-down, go to Re-sort List.
- Pick OK the Are you sure you want to return this list to its original order? prompt.
Once you've completed the steps above and you're still unable to see the inventory item, I recommend trying QuickBooks File Doctor to fix company file issues.
