Printing checks another issue for QBO

Please explain to me if one check prints bad why I can't just reprint that check?  Instead every check after that has to be reprinted?

I can't stand QBO!

Printing checks another issue for QBO

Hi there, @fishlog.

I have some insights to share regarding reprinting a check in QuickBooks Online.

You can reprint a check that was not printed correctly by opening the transaction again. This way, there's no need for you to print every check for the second time.

Here's how:

  1. Select on Reports, from the left menu.
  2. Search for the Check Detail report.
  3. From the report, choose the check you'd like to print.
  4. Press on Print check.

I've added here a link that gives you complete details about reprinting checks in QuickBooks Online both in a single entry or in batch: You can reprint any check or sales form at any time.

For your reference, you can always check out these resources to learn more the different ways of printing checks and on how to manage the vendor's transaction in the system:

Why not just to what the desk top version does when it asks you if your checks printed correctly?

Give you a screen where you can just check off the checks that need to be reprinted.

Is there plans to add this little tweak?

Thanks for getting back to us, @fishlog.

That's a wonderful idea! While this option isn't available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) yet, you can follow the steps shared by my colleague above to reprint the incorrectly printed checks as a workaround.

I'll pass along your suggestion to our Product Developers. They're always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve QBO. In the meantime, I recommend visiting our Blog site. This is where we share recent happenings and future developments, such as updates to newly added features.

Just in case, I'll add these articles for future reference:
