QBSE ACCOUNT WIPED!

I'm hoping I can get some information or perhaps other users have experienced this. I've been using QBSE since August of last year when I first discovered it. Loaded all my banks in and started sorting all my transactions. I've been using it successfully since then and just did my fillings for 2018 year. Everything peachy.
I signed in about a week ago to discover pretty well ALL my business transactions are missing, from 2018 and 2019. Last year my gross sales were 66k, now they're showing them at about 10k with 90% of my business transactions missing. Also, even for 2019 deposits I made last month, which showed up on QBSE and I sorted them at the time - are now gone. The transactions are all there in my bank account but for some reason now deleted from my QBSE. I didn't do anything, I knew QB updated their end. Is anyone else experiencing this? All my mileage is still there, and all my personal transactions are there dating back to Jan 2018. However all my business transactions are gone. I tired refreshing my bank account frantically with no avail.

No help? Dang. This software is incredibly glitchy. I hope my 2018 fillings were correct.

Allow me to share some information about the missing data in your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.


We’ve received reports that some customers business transactions from the previous year are missing. Our engineers are working to find a permanent solution on how to permanently post the data back to the account.


I want to ensure you’re in the loop with the latest update, so I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team to add your company to the notification list. You'll receive an email once there's progress about the issue.


You can reach them by following these steps:

 

  1. Click on the Assistant icon at the top of your QBSE company, then enter talk to human.
  2. Select Chat or Email.


Rest assured, I’ll let you know any updates here in the Community.

Hi Rasa, 

 

These are current transaction too. There's transactions from last month that I had marked Business Income and now they've simply vanished. QBSE is only reflecting 20% of my actual business transactions from the past year including 2019. 

 

I don't see an Assistant icon at the top of this page. Can you be more specific as to where I would find that? I want to remind you this is for Quickbooks Self Employed so the UI/features are different than Quickbooks Online.

I want to make sure you’re getting the right support in locating your transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

May I ask under which specific bank account were the missing transactions recorded?

 

As mentioned by my colleague, @Rasa-LilaM, we have an ongoing issue about missing business transactions. So you’ll be included on the affected user’s list, I’d suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. Rest assured, you’ll be notified via email as soon as a permanent resolution about this concern is released.

 

Currently, the support for QuickBooks Self-Employed is via chat and email only. Here’s how to contact us.

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
  2. Go to Help.

  1. Choose Contact Us.
  2. Fill in Ask a question (or tell us what’s wrong).
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Choose Start a Chat or Post a Question

QuickBooks personnel, 

 

How is this problem "SOLVED" in any way???  The lady lost a VERY LARGE AMOUNT of her transactions!!  I just lost all the mileage I had input; perhaps another clever way the government can save money from those out here trying to bust their [removed] to stay ahead!  If no one is managing these programs any better than this, than we can't expect to pay the IRS properly and you can't expect the working people to subscribe to your [removed] programs!!

This isn't what we want you to experience at all, Candi.

 

We want to ensure your business is operational again and don't want to stall this issue further.

 

Mileage tracking will depend on some of your phone's settings. One of them is to make sure that your application has been updated to the latest version. In the App Store, select the application, and then Update.

 

You'll have to make sure also that the auto-tracking toggle is green and set to ON.
