Also, were you trying to connect your bank account or download the transactions? Did you receive any error message?
I've also added this reference that have detailed information about TLS 1.2: TLS 1.2 for QuickBooks Desktop for Windows.
Feel free to mention my name in your Reply. I'll be here to help you out!
Thank you @Adrian_A for your quick response. It will become obvious very shortly that I’m a complete beginner with quickbooks. I’ll look into your link regarding TLS 1.2 after I respond, hopefully it will solve the problem. First tho, let me better explain the issue. I’m working with an accountant to get the software set up and have been trying to reconcile my credit card account. When I follow instructions to import transactions from the account and the software opens the browser inside QB to log into my bank account, it won’t allow me to log in. I can navigate the website but when I try to log in it says I need to download the latest version of several browsers. I have the latest versions of all of them. This is where I get stuck.

- Help pages
- Ordering checks and supplies

I get no error messages, the bank’s website just defaults to a page saying I need to update my browser.
Thank you for the additional information, mykleshane.
When importing bank transactions, make sure that the default browser is Internet Explorer since this is the supported portal of QuickBooks Desktop.
If your Internet Explorer is updated to the latest version, let's run the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This fixes common issues on the file. I've added this link as your guide: Warning that Internet Explorer 11.0 is required when it is already installed.
Fill me in if there's anything that I can help. Keep safe!
