Join nowWe need the name, phone number and email address of a VP of Customer Service for Quickbooks. We have been trying to get the master admin on our company transferred from our CPA to our owner since April, 2020. In the process, Quickbooks eliminated the Master Admin, so that there is not one for our company. We have opened cases, sent proof of ownership and called numerous time to get the owner as the MA to no avail. Can anyone help?
Have you follow these steps?
As for the last resort, if you hold a Company Admin credential, you may migrate all of data to a new QBO account.
This solution does not work for us. We have submitted drivers license and business certificate for "Articled Of Incorporation", but have no "OperatingAgreement" to submit since this is a real estate holding company owned by one person. Consequently, Quickbooks says we need a court order to prove that the owner owns the company!
This situation was caused by Quickbooks. We transferred two company's Master Admin role from our CPA to our owner. It worked on one company, but on the second company Quickbooks eliminated our CPA as Master Admin before we could accept the invitation to make the owner the Master Admin. Quickbooks knows that this company exists and that our former CPA was the Master Admin. But now that they have deleted our former CPA as Master Admin, they will not let our former CPA send another invitation out to the owner. Consequently, we have to prove that the owner owns the company, but Quickbooks will not accept our proof because there is no Operating Agreement for this company. It is a Catch 22 situation of their making!
Explaining this to anyone that you can get on the phone at QuickBooks is the epitome of frustration. They do not understand that they created the situation, do not have any authority other that to send us back to the same link above and will not let the call do thru to someone who can comprehend what has happened and has the authority to rectify the situation.
We met many similar issues with yours. At the end, we recommended our clients to open a new QBO account if they still hold the Company Admin as we mentioned earlier.
