If you save your backup on a computer, on a removable storage device, or a network drive, you'll have to restore a local backup.
Here's how:
- In your QuickBooks, go to the File menu.
- Select Open or Restore Company.
- Choose Restore a backup copy then click Next.
- Select Local backup then hit Next.
- Locate the file that you want to restore then click Open.
Once done, you can manually input the invoices from your current company file to the backup copy. Make sure to make a copy of your latest file
You can also check for an application that you can integrate with QuickBooks to enter your transaction to your back up copy.
