If you are using QB Desktop, your accountant have to use the QB Desktop Accountant version. Otherwise you may create a backup file or portable one and send it to your accountant. Your accountant may utilize the trial license of QB Desktop 2021 to open it.
Keep in mind, if you are using QB Desktop 2020 or older, you will unable to open the file later once it is converted on QBD 2021.
I would recommend to ask your accountant to remote your desktop by a remote app. It is the cheapest option for both of you. Let me know if have another concern.
