Join nowHad to entry an AJE for a negative A/R balance from prior years. It cleared A/R, and cleared the Customer Account. But now the AJE in the Customer Account shows a Status of Over Due. There's no way to change via "Actions". How can I clear the AJE Status to be "complete"... anything other than "over due"??

I can help you clear the status of your adjusting journal entry, iwalter.
Clearing out your adjusting journals depends on how you debit and credit the Accounts Receivable (A/R) account. For the entry to be marked as Paid which also indicates as complete, if the A/R account is on the Debit side, you can create a payment for the entry. If the entry is seen in the Credits section, you'll want to use it in paying outstanding invoices for it to be cleared.
To know more about adjusting an account's total balance, you can refer to this link: Make adjusting journal entries in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
You'll want to keep track of the payments and transactions made to your customer's just run a report and customize it further to get the data you need.

It ended up being easier than I thought...lol. The issue were the AJE's that had no actual 'payments' related. I just went in to any payment for each respective customer. Once in the payment screen, I was able to check all the boxes to clear all unapplied credit memos, AJE's, etc. Thank you!
