Join nowI recently had my SSD fail catastrophically. I was able to recover my Quickbooks 2019 company files with data recovery software, but I'm having some problems opening some of them.
I installed the Quickbooks Tool Hub and was able to open 2 of the company files after using Quick Fix my Program and QuickBooks Program Diagnostic Tool. Another company file caused Quickbooks to become unresponsive when I tried opening it. I ran the QuickBooks Desktop File Doctor on that file, and it's been running for a little over 3 hours now. It still says it's repairing my file and it's still responsive, but I don't know how long to let it keep trying.
I'm not really sure what else to try. There were some other files with the same name as my company file with .ND and .tlg file extensions that I also recovered, I'm not sure if those are anything helpful.
If QBD File Doctor can't fix it, call and ask Intuit Data Service to fix it. Otherwise, consider purchasing a 3rd party file recovery service.
