QuickBooks Online uses cache and cookies to load the page quicker. However, it also gets outdated which can cause issues such as this unexpected error you're receiving.

I was advised to clear the cache. I signed out and cleared the cache from google and deleted all history in hopes the error would go away however, the error still occurs.

I've checked here on our end and there's an ongoing investigation where customers encounter Something's not quite right Unexpected problem : -30006 error. This happens when trying to add a payment to an invoice where the payment was created first. Our engineers are working together for the permanent fix. 

 

As a workaround, you can create the invoice first and then receive payment. You can also Close (X) from the transaction after the error and the payment is applied. Once done, please reach out to our Customer Support Team. They'll pull up your account in secure environment and add you to the list of affected users. Then, they'll send you an email notification once there's an update on this issue.
