You can manually create a sales receipt and deposit it to the Undeposited Funds account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to move the cash payment from Shopify, A2H.
Before doing so, I recommend checking first with Shopify support if they have a setting that can sync cash payments with QBO to avoid duplicate entries.
If Shopify does not support this feature, you'll need to record all your cash payment transactions manually. You can do this by creating a sales receipt for each cash payment and depositing it into the Undeposited Funds account. Here's how:
- Go to + New, then select Sales receipt.
- From the Customer dropdown, choose a customer.
- In the Deposit To field, select the Undeposited Funds account.
- Fill out all the necessary fields in the sales receipt, then click Save.

Once you've recorded everything, proceed with making a bank deposit. This ensures QuickBooks reflects your actual bank transactions, ensuring your financial data remains accurate.
