When I try to connect online banking to my QBO, I get an error saying that this account is already setup.

I think that this is because of a trial version that I was using before where I had connected my banking accounts and now I have a new subscription account. I cannot remove the banking information from my trial version since it is in a freeze mode as the trial period is over. I cannot make any changes to it. Please assist.

Thanks,

Harsh

Thanks for sharing your concern with us, @itsagrindsanlean.

You'll have to disconnect the bank from the Banking page in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) trial account. This way, you'll be able to connect it to the new one.

You can reach out to our customer support so they can temporarily open your trial account and disconnect your bank account from there. Here's how you can reach out to them:

  1. Click the Help icon.
  2. Hit the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  3. Enter your concern in the description, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select Get a callback.

To ensure we address your concern on time, check out our support hours.

After disconnecting, you can now connect your bank account to your subscribed version in QBO.

Once it's connected, QuickBooks will automatically download your transactions so you don't have to enter them manually. All you have to do is review and categorize them.

We're open 24/7 and always ready to assist. Just click the reply button below so we can get back to you as soon as possible. Stay safe.
