Background - I have transferred my quickbooks file from Windows to Mac back to Windows and now back to Mac...desktop version.
When I go to receive payments for F Troop Feeders it is showing a credit of $237.50. That payment was applied back in April 2018. The customer detail shows the correct balance and the AR summary report shows the correct balance for the customer. I do not know how to get rid of the already applied credit. Help please?
I’ll help you clear this credit, so everything remains accurate, @hupeoples.
There might be data issues within your company file that affects the program functionalities. Let me provide instructions to get rid of this behavior.
You can use the Verify Rebuild Data tool in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. This helps scan your company file for errors or data issues while resolving them right away.
To do so:
Please know that you'll need to log in to your Desktop account using the single-user mode when performing this process. It only takes minutes to complete. However, it will still depend on your company's file size.
I’d be happy to help if you have other payment concerns. Just drop a comment below, and I'll back to you as soon as I can. Take care!
Thank you @MadelynC for the info - I should have stated in first post that I have verified and rebuilt and the second verify said no issues. But I still have the issue happening above. :)
@MadelynC Thank you so much - I should have stated in first post that I verfied (it found issues) so I rebuilt then I verified again and it found no issues. I still have the original issue.
The first time I went from Mac to PC I had to send file(s) to QB support to fix. But I can't seem to find how to contact anyone to make that happen...fingers crossed you can help me :)
Not to worry, I’ll definitely help you, @hupeoples. :)
