When recording mileage in QuickBooks, make sure the Billable box is checked. This will allow you to bill the customer for the miles that you've entered in QuickBooks.
Then, follow these steps to add mileage in the invoice:
- Create an invoice for the customer.
- Click Add Time/Costs.
- Go to the Mileage tab and select the mileage log that you need to be added in the invoice.
- Click OK, then enter the Rate and Amount.
- Click Save and close.
