When I set up my COA for restricted funds in the balance sheet, which account do I select? I'm reading that it should be under the equity account (which is net assets for non profits right?) but I do not know which details to select under equity.
Additionally, I"m taking this over from somebody else and she put restricted funds under Long Term Liability. Is this incorrect?
In QBO Advanced, nonprofit use, what accounts (& their account types) need to be set up in the chart of accounts to handle all restricted funds activities?
