Rise in cost making product unaffordable

What are my options to cancel the account?  You have raised prices at a rate of 350% over three years.  I am a small business and raise three kids by myself and try to put them through school.  You should be ashamed.  I am very dissappointed as I recommended this product to many folks.

Re: Rise in cost making product unaffordable

Hi there, rrpros2.

Pricing adjustments help us reinvest in improving the features you already have and create new tools that let you do more in less time. This also helps us keep our product compliant with a continually evolving tax and regulatory landscape.

Please visit this write-up about the current pricing adjustment for more information: QuickBooks Online Price Increase For July 2019.

We offer different pricing schemes with different features. There's an option to downgrade your existing subscription if you're not using all of the features it offers. Please see this article for more details: Downgrade Your QuickBooks Online Subscription.

Although, you can follow the steps in this article to cancel your QBO subscription: Cancel Your QuickBooks Online Subscription

Lastly, you can give our phone support a quick call. They'll be able to take a look at your account and discuss the best subscription plan that would meet your business needs. Here's how:

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner of QuickBooks.
  2. Click Contact us
  3. Enter a short description of your concern and click Let's talk
  4. Select the option to Get a callback or Message an agent

Move to desktop, it is more functional, and way cheaper

Desktop is supported for 3 years, meaning you can use intuit online connections, payroll, banking downloads, etc for those 3 years without buying it again

desktop is offered as the plus plan which is yet another subscription based software offering OR you can pay one price and use it for 3 years (more if you do not tie yourself to intuits online downloads and payroll)

desktop pro is around 200, and is more functional than QBO ever will be.
