Running credit card transactions thru QB online app w/ Bluetooth reader. It says, Error occurred. Pls try again. It repeats when tried again. Answers?

Running credit card transactions thru QB online app w/ Bluetooth reader. It says, Error occurred. Pls try again. It repeats when tried again. Answers?

I can help you sort this out, @boxdropmarksvill.

 

To isolate the issue, we can disconnect and reconnect the card reader. Here's how:

 

For Green GoPayment:

  1. From the menu, select Settings.
  2. Click Card Readers, and then choose the card reader to disconnect.
  3. Select the Redear Actions drop-down arrow, and then click Forget Reader.
  4. Reconnect the reader.

For Blue GoPayment:

  1. Select More, and then click Hardware.
  2. Click Card Redears, and then choose the card reader you want to disconnect.
  3. Select the Redear Actions drop-down arrow, and then click Forget Reader.
  4. Reconnect the reader.

Also, make sure that the Bluetooth is on.
