sales order fullfillment

It seems there should be a way in the customer file to open up a sales order and view related purchase orders and the po's filled and unfilled quantities. Is there possibly a field on the sales order template that we are not using that would do this? The items on the sales order are non-inventory parts that we order from vendors. We do not stock inventory and do not have Advanced Inventory enabled.

sales order fullfillment

Hi there, @AccountingGF.

I hope you're having a successful week so far. After doing some research on the customer file opening sales orders, I can inform you that the feature isn't available in QuickBooks Desktop. However, I can see how this feature would be beneficial to you and other users, so I'm going to submit this fantastic idea to our Product Development team. This will allow them to consider your idea for future QuickBooks updates. In the meantime, you can check out the QuickBooks blog page for any new updates to our programs.

Feel free to hit the reply button if you have any other questions or concerns. Enjoy the rest of your week!
