Sales Receipt- Customize

Hello,

I would like to Customize my Sales Receipt to be a Donation Receipt since I am a Non-Profit.

When I try to edit the content on Custom Form Styles, the fields I want to change aren't changeable like:

Header:

Billing To

Footer:

Tax

Balance Due

I would like to remove the above fields.

I tried to upload a new customized template with Quickbooks Invoice Samples ,I edited the fields I needed to change and tried to upload it as a Sales Receipt but  it didnt let me! To upload the template, I needed to choose the template to be either an INVOICE or an ESTIMATE! No option to upload as a Sales Receipt/Donation Receipt.

I do not want to use this template for Invoice or Estimate, since I use these already for something else.

Please help!

Sarah

Sales Receipt- Customize

Yes, you're right in customizing the sales receipt template in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @SBH2.

Being able to remove the Bill To and the Balance Due field is currently unavailable. It is a built-in feature of the QuickBooks sales forms to determine the balance of the transactions and the bill to details.

When importing a customize template, these fields might also be added when mapping.

For the time being, you may look for a third-party application that will fit your organization's needs with sales receipts, then integrate it with QuickBooks. Here's the link: http://apps.intuit.com/.
