Sales Receipts Numbers

Hi all,


The sales receipts numbers, use to automatically change when I would enter a sales receipt. I accidentally deleted the number,and unfortunately did not catch it until several receipts had been entered. Any Suggestions? Is there a setting that has to be changed?

Hello there, @TWBS.


You can manually enter the sales receipts number to record the transactions in sequence. I'd be glad to walk you through the steps.


  1. Go to the Customers menu.
  2. Select Customer Center.
  3. In the window, click the Transactions tab.
  4. Choose Sales Receipts.
  5. From there, open the transaction and manually enter the sales receipts number.
  6. Hit Save & Close to save the transaction.

Once done, the next sales receipt you'll create will follow the corresponding number recorded on the system.
