Sales Tax Liability Report - Quickzoom on Non taxable sales not showing all records

I'm running a Sales Tax Liability report for previous month. I have an amount that shows up in my In State Resale - Non taxable sales column. Amount is $32,000. When I click that number to run a quickzoom report it brings up one transaction of $700. How do I get it to display all the transactions totaling $32,000. Running the report Cash basis.

Re: Sales Tax Liability Report - Quickzoom on Non taxable sales not showing all records

Hi Hoopack33,

Let's run the Verify and Rebuild tool to help identify any discrepancies on the Sales Tax Liability report in QuickBooks Desktop. I'm here to help guide you through.

Before running the tool, please secure a backup copy of your company file. Once done, you can refer to these steps:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to File and select Utilities.
  3. If a problem is detected, go back to Utilities.
  4. Choose Rebuild Data.

For further guidance, you can also check out this article that will provide more information: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.

Then, try running the report again.

After following these steps, QuickZoom will now show you the same amount as in the Sales Tax Liability report.

Please let me know in the comment section on how it turns out. I'll be here to keep helping.

Re: Sales Tax Liability Report - Quickzoom on Non taxable sales not showing all records

I did verify and rebuild but it did not change anything.

It seems that the quickzoom report is only showing invoices that were billed during that month AND paid that month. It should just show invoices that were paid that month.

Any advice why it is not reporting properly?
