Searching for Message on invoice

Hello, MindyDentTec.

I appreciate all of your efforts in looking for the exact message. The ability to search for identical messages in the Message on Invoice field is unavailable.

As a workaround, you can run the Transaction List by Customer report and customize it by adding a column for Customer/Vendor Message. I'll show you how.

1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. Type in Transactions List by Customer.
3. Click the Customize button.
4. Enter a correct reporting period.
5. Select Rows/Columns.
6. Checkmark Customer/Vendor Message.
7. Once done, hit Run Report.

The idea of adding the option to search messages on the Message on Invoice Field is fantastic. I recommend submitting requests inside QuickBooks. Our Product Development team will review it and include it in the future product update once approved.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Feedback.
3. Enter your feedback and suggestions.
4. Click Next to submit.

As for suggesting to developers at QB I don't have any faith that they will do anything because I and many other have suggested to have credit memo to be available on QB app, it has been 5-6 years and nothing happens.
